THE GATHERING KC

Kansas City, Missouri – AVDOXA partnered with The Gathering KC, owned and operated by The Hope Center KC, to provide a state-of-the-art audio, video, and lighting installation for their newly restored historic venue. All revenue generated at The Gathering KC supports youth, family, and community development programs, including a medical clinic, elementary charter school, and expanded community initiatives.

Collaborating with Strata Architecture and Straub Construction, as well as local builders specializing in historic preservation, AVDOXA helped transform the restored church building into a modern, flexible space while honoring its original character. The project features QSC and Blaze Audio systems for immersive sound, Allen & Heath consoles for professional mixing, Blackmagic video solutions for seamless production, and a striking OHR LED wall for dynamic visual content.

Scheduled to open in 2025, The Gathering KC provides a meaningful, versatile space for events and community engagement, continuing The Hope Center’s commitment to creating impactful environments on the east side of Kansas City.
